Paul
Duffley ~ Owner
It all began back in the 80’s when I became a disc jockey,
believe it or not! I
loved music loud and clean. It became rather annoying when I was
doing parties that had old ladies show up and they would sit right
in front of the speakers, then complain that the music was too
loud. After a few years of that, I gave up and started to roadie
for the Catunes (a local band with a regional following). That
brought me to the late 80’s when I began to work as a crew
member with Red Line Sound, mixing sound and loving the quality
of equipment they carried.
In the early
90’s I became the House Engineer at The Harp in downtown
Boston and after about 2-1/2 years I took the soundman position
with Clutch Grabwell and still mix them today.
After a couple
of shows of using equipment that was not qualified to use in some
bedrooms, and the upcoming retirement of Red Line Sound, I made
my move and bought the latest equipment from JBL, Crown, and Allen-Heath.
I liked it so much I bought a second one and am looking to purchase
more.
You'll
see as you read the rest of this page, I have very qualified engineers
working with our equipment. |

Dave
Duffley ~ System Tech
My first real
experience with music started when Kiss 108 first hit the airways.
My brother, Paul Duffley began purchasing
DJ equipment and started to pick up paying gigs. I wanted to have
a piece of his success so I started assisting him by carrying
the equipment. Although, Paul provide the music I provide some
of the entertainment until the guests started to party. From there
I followed Paul into the band scene. In most cases I still was
too young to stay at the clubs to listen to the bands. But I would
help set up the equipment. I became a roadie working for Mark
Morris and the Cat tunes. I also worked with Paul setting up for
Newsboys. Once Paul started mixing for Red line sound, I found
roadie work with a 50’s band called Michael Jay’s
inn crowd from the North Shore. That gig didn't’t last long.
I was away from the business for years until December 05 when,
Paul needed a person to assist with setting up his own equipment
for his busy schedule. |
Norman
~ Freelance Engineer

Norman is known for his Jedi mind tricks.
He has the physic ability to tell in advance if a band plans on
tipping him or not.
This valuable skill set is a proven time saver in determining
when to engage the "Suck" button.
We all have a lot to learn from Nawmin, mainly from past
mistakes. |
